A
BIBLIOGRAPHICAL INDEX
TO THE
MASSEIAN CORPUS
Compiled by the Editor
This index has been designed to be as comprehensive as possible by including cross-references, alternative spellings, misspellings, abbreviations and titles of all the works referred to by Massey in BB, NG, ML and AE. Those titles he does not name but has used, or borrowed, have been omitted. This index should be treated as a concordance to those works, and used in conjunction with the Bibliography.
As Massey often cites titles without giving the author, or vice versa, both are listed in their respective places. Titles are in italics followed by the authorwhere known. Where Massey uses only one work by an author, the title and author have been treated as one, although in some cases he may not be referring to that particular work, only the author. Page numbers directly following the author denote general references, or where there is doubt as to which work is implied. Other relevant entries follow the main entry. Page numbers in parentheses denote references not given directly by Massey. Authorities and persons mentioned, but not quoted, throughout the corpus, will be found listed in the General Index.
